PSYCH-K®
Beliefs are subjective attitudes that function much like mental computer programs. Some beliefs support growth and well-being, while others can severely limit us in ways we do not realize. Whether we know it or not, beliefs influence our perceptions, thoughts, emotions, and automatic reactions.
When conscious intention conflicts with subconscious programming, change is often difficult or impossible to sustain. PSYCH-K® offers an effective and self-compassionate way to resolve that conflict.
What is PSYCH-K®?
PSYCH-K® is a simple yet powerful set of processes that transforms limiting subconscious beliefs into supportive ones. It can also help shift the perception of past, present, or future stress into a state of peace.
Each process, known as a “balance,” facilitates communication between both hemispheres of the brain, creating what is called a Whole-Brain State. From this integrated state, neuroplasticity is enhanced, creating the ideal conditions for limiting beliefs to shift and for new patterns of thought and behavior to take root.
Like Emotion Code®, PSYCH-K® does not require uncovering the root cause of an issue, entering altered states of consciousness, or discussing personal history. Both facilitator and participant remain fully awake and aware throughout the process.
PSYCH-K® supports lasting change by:
Transforming limiting beliefs
Resolving inner conflict
Improving clarity, focus, and intuitive ability
Reducing stress
Creating the alignment needed for goal achievement
What should I expect in a session?
PSYCH-K® sessions are conversational and collaborative, similar to coaching sessions. The facilitator’s role is to hold space, deeply listen, reflect, and guide the process. The participant identifies areas of focus and defines meaningful goal statements that reflect desired change.
For example, if a participant experiences anxiety when meeting new people, we might explore: “What would I need to believe in order to feel relaxed and open when connecting with others?” The answer might be, “It’s safe for me to be myself,” “I trust my instincts,” or “It’s easy for me to connect with others.” Once the participant identifies the statement that feels most resonant for them, we proceed with the process.
Each PSYCH-K® balance includes a permission protocol, done through muscle testing, to ensure that every goal is safe and appropriate to address at that time. If a goal isn’t aligned with a person’s authentic potential, or if the timing isn’t right, the facilitator guides the process in another direction.
At the end of each session, we identify at least one action step to help integrate the inner change into lived experience. As PSYCH-K® founder Rob Williams said, “PSYCH-K® creates the potential, and we create the results.”
